I noticed this on my headlight the other day. Right on the line of the light. Is this a common issue? Will warranty cover this/gimme ***** about this? Thx

 

That's a very common issue for the regular IS. does the bumper under the headlight have some sort of gap?

If you have condensation in your headligh(s), the warranty does cover. I came out of a carwash-handwashed and the passenger side headlight had condensation. Took to dealer, they replaced with minimal questions.

Have you ever opened any of the housing covers or replaced the bulbs..??

If you have, sometimes the seals do not close properly... Eventually condenstation will start to appear if this happens.

Warranty did not cover my condensation in my headlights. Dealership said the tab on one of the headlight had cracked and when I had the car washed during the summer water had collected in the headlight and over time the condensation would haze the rest of the housing.

I stated my car never was in an accident, however they said if any damage occurs such as crack tabs or housing it is not covered. Basically a ****ty loop hole the dealership and other dealers would not help me in.

 

i have the same issue with my 2008 IS F as well, it's only have 1,05xx miles on it... (just bought an extented warrenty too.....7yrs/75k miles)
mentioned it to the customer service manger during service....he said he can't see any water in the headlight....
I will see if i can find the email for LEXUS HEADQUATER and send them pic of my headlight, maybe they can do a justification on this?
