^^ There was a registry thread created but it never got populated/updated despite numerous inquiries about it - There was more excitement when the LE was released but since this is the end of the IS 500 era, it is old news now and I guess no interest in it anymore.

I can update the Team UE that mine was finally delivered around 7:30pm this evening!! I am so happy that the whole delivery was smooth and nothing happened during transit. There was a nasty winter event here last night and part of the trans Canada was closed overnight and this morning due to trucks stuck and jackknifed on the highway - I was restless all day knowing mine could be picked up today but by the time it got picked up this afternoon, all was done and roads had been cleared and re-opened but some glad it was in an enclosed car carrier as it would have been some dirty from all the road and salt spray.

Now the detailing journey will begin this weekend where I will have all the time in the world to play in my nice detached detailing garage. I already gave my phone number to the wife in case she misses me this weekend (lol)

Congratulations wthrman I am In the GTA as well, I wanted to get the Ultimate after I traded my LE but I took the RCF Final Edition Instead when It became avaiable at my dealership,hope you can post some photos enjoy it please.

 

^^ I am.so envious!! The RC F is one of the sexiest car out there! I like even better than the LC if I am totally honest, a bit more muscular.

Nice review of both, and if you are asking me if it's worth paying the extra $50,000, then I must say no. I grappled for a year deciding between the two as a replacement for my 21 IS350, and I could not justify that extra money, which is considerable. Maybe if the LC500 had 100 more hp or a manual transmission or actually usable back seats, then that could have swayed me towards the LC. Now, there are many others of course, who definitely see the extra spent well worth it for the additional refinement, 10 speed transmission and better sounding exhaust. All depends what you value the most in a vehicle of this stature.

 

^^ I agree. The sound of the LC is amazing and while many speak on how amazing the 10 speed is, my 2022 IS 500 has no transmission issues that made me crave a 10 speed. I know that many say the shifts are crisper and such but I don't need neck breaking speed for shifts so I am fine with the 8.

I love the elegance of the LC's interior but I don't enjoy the lack of practicality. Some angles of the LC makes me drool, others leave me "meh" just like the IS 500 does also for that matter. Bottom line, is there enough for me to want to pay that much difference, not likely although I saw a Nori Green at the dealer a few months and let me tell you, for a guy who dislikes that color, on that car it was OMG take my money!

 

This is the easiest way to talk yourself out of or into a LC500:

Out: An IS500 is half the price.
In: An Aston Martin is 2x the price.

Thank you for the kind response on my new RCF Final my favourite part of my car is the styling, my plaque I am number 130 of 200 and rear powered spoiler. Re your Ultimate Edition I love the Wind colour and the car In general. Your right both cars are good In there own way.

 

Likely won't come until the spring as it's winter here and won't be seen in the wild until April 2026. I will try and take a few pics from my garage once I am done the fully and comprehensive detailing

I agree that both cars (and also including the LC 500) are all amazing cars with a great engine!! The rear powered spoiler always get me excited when I see videos showing it in action. You should upload a pic just to show us your baby.

I won't drive it until the spring but I had a 2022 IS 500 for the last 4 summers so I am not expecting anything different except how it looks
