The car is fully detailed - There is not a single part of the car that has not been done!! Such a satisfying journey when you can spend hours in your dedicated washing garage and not be rushed. Today was the final part where I jacks up both the front and rear, removing all the tires (2 at a time - rear then the front). I was able to foam them, wash, then blow dry. Finally, I applied a coat of the Dr Beasley Matte Wheel Seal and what a beautiful job this product does! I just wish that I could have pulled it outside for good sun/outdoor pics but the driveway was wet from the overnight snow melting so I will wait for another day.
Here are a few final pics - Sorry they are not the best quality and showing the color perfectly well but I'll have more.

out of curiosity, how do you go back putting it on jack stands?
^^ the jack was in the middle in the front at the proper jacking point. The car wasn't sitting on the jack stands but a hair just above to avoid damaging the pinch weld (although i have the rubber adapters) but this way, if the jack released by accident, it would have rested on both front jack stands. Did the same when i did the rear wheels.
Oh you're based in New Brunswick? I always thought you were based somewhere in Ontario/GTA and was hoping we could all meet up sometime in the summer 😅
Your garage looks so clean! Wish I had that much space to work with..
^^ That garage has been my saving grace - I just couldn't imagine going through life again without it. I mean I have one attached with the house (2 car) but this thing is on a different level!!
When are you getting yours? Or do you have one already?

Yup! Picked mine up a couple weeks back, but since I don't have garage space like yours, had to have it trailered to a friend's shop to have full PPF and ceramic coating done. Posted a pic a little up in the thread!
Mine will be here in two weeks! What is the current high number? Any guess what it might be? I'm thinking 250ish? What port do you think it will arrive at for a south delivery?
Thanks Just joined! only in 2nd gear lol

^^ I can't recall what is the highest production number I have seen - we used to track the Launch Edition but we haven't for the UE. Mine was produced in September 2025 and I am in the low numbers but I am not sure if there is a correlation between #xxx/500 and actual production date. Keep us posted what you have when yours get here. As far as the port of arrival, I am not sure as I am Canadian so I haven't been tracking which ports the US deliveries go to.
As far as mods, the only mod I am planning on doing is installing stiffer Lower Control Arm bushings - I won't get this done until the spring as the car was just delivered but it's already winter and I don't drive mine in the snow so it is stored for the winter. I had it shipped to my home from the dealer that is about 4h away as I didn't want to drive it.
Oh cool, I think 460 here in the states 40 up there in Canada! Reason for lower control arms bushings? I'm thinking of changing axle back for a little more tone researching now.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question - I thought you were asking about the highest production number we have seen so far. Yes, you are correct that out of the 500 units produced, 460 will be delivered for the US market while on 40 is available in Canada. The reason for the stiffer LCA bushing is to help with reducing the inner tire wear due to the softer bushing that comes with the IS 300/350/500. Aftermarket bushings are stiffer and offer a better resistance to the uneven wear (with some camber arms) but I didn't want to go too crazy with mods and change the driving signature of the IS 500.
As far as exhaust, I would love to have a throatier sound (like the LC 500) but I don't want to order something without hearing it in person as I don't want something too loud or with a drone. There are no other IS 500 owners close to where I live so I can't have that luxury so I will pass. I was thinking of doing an Apexi mid pipe (I think the resonated is the quieter one - I always get mixed up) but I guess I will leave that stock as I don't want to order a 2000$ part (in Canada) and then hate it.
