Saw a '21 in the flesh for the first time. It is beautiful! Curves/creases much nicer IRL than photos.

The new IS wheels are... nice... but they remind me of ES wheels. For the 3IS, nothing beats the original split spoke F sport wheels. one of the greatest wheels ever made and i could just sit in my garage and stare at them after washing my car.

Similar feeling to my machine finished F sport wheels on the CT. Another all time favorite wheel of mine. Maybe i just have a thing for split spoke wheels.

^^ I saw one too last week and loved it but I feel the wheels are nice and almost a carbon copy of those of my RC (2019)

Depending on how you like your cars, no sunroof could actually be a good thing. I never had any issues with the sunroof on the IS, but the one on my GTI has been a pain - have to throw some silicone grease at it every few months or else it makes noise. Having said that, I do like having one.

I agree on those wheels. I've had a couple car friendos comment on how nice they are, too, which is rare. I also have to love the LFA wheel design reference.

I'm getting mixed answers on this, but what paint can I order that would be an identical match to these wheels? I think it's pretty common that this finish gets splotchy over time and mines are pretty bad and I want to refinish them.
Or, does anyone know if these wheels could be stripped of their paint and polished?

I actually love the stock 21 IS F Sport wheels. They look great in person, especially since it's a dark metallic finish.

Just picked up our 21 IS 350 AWD F Sport tonight. Atomic Silver, Nav, Sunroof, Panoramic View, Door sill lights. Only 15 miles on it so far, and looking forward to learning more from this forum. We defected from Acura. Had 2012 TSX, and 2015 TLX, 2018 TLX. Drove the new 2021 TLX, and wasn't impressed, especially with the turbo 4 engine. Lots of turbo lag, and feels far weaker than stated numbers.

That said, I'll be glad to answer questions anyone has. Still learning all the features, but will do best I can.

It seems like the 2021 IS 350 is finally rolling out in select areas of Bay Area, CA and stock is limited with many dealers already sold out of their stock from previous week. Are you able to negotiate any discount?

i finally was able to see one the other day and even test drove it. my impressions compared to my 2017 IS was that i actually loved that it felt more of the same from what it was before, i think lexus really perfected the platform and handling when comparing stock for stock. in person it also looked so aggressive and it was just beautiful. i could definitely feel it wasn’t as snappy or as quick off the line as mine with the tune and exhaust, but that makes sense. would i trade my 2017 in for it, no. however, i would definitely lease one so i can really start building my 2017 and supercharge it and then it would become the project/weekend car which is what i’ve been planning for a while. all in all, it’s still a fantastic option compared to the germans and i would trade speed off the line for the handling and looks of the IS anyday.

That's beautiful, making me want to trade my '19 (also in Atomic Silver) in based on looks alone.

Definitely looks more silver "Iridium" to me under that florescent lighting.

Very little off of msrp. Dealer has everything coming in for a while pre-sold, including ours. That said, the lease had $1,500 cash, plus $1,000 military, and the money factor was very low compared to the Acura. Lexus money factor equals an APR of like 1.2%, and Acura was 5.6. Makes a big difference in lease payment.

It came with Bridgestone EL450 tires on staggered 19" wheels. I assume they aren't run-flat, there's a doughnut sized spare and jack in the trunk. One thing I didn't like about IS compared to TLX. The TLX comes with Michelin MXM4, and when we traded it with 49k miles, it still probably had 15k worth of tread left. Was really impressed with tire life on those. Reading all the posts on tire life and the inside fronts going bald quickly has me nervous. I plan on getting the RCF bushings soon to correct that problem before it even happens.
