I saw an advertised lease deal for a 300 for $339/36mo/3999 DAS
Yes, that is the new program, also here on the West Coast. It's a base 300 with no sunroof. The last special on the 2020 IS300 was for $299/mo, $2999 down, with sunroof. So several thousand dollar difference if you add up all the payments and missing options. About right for an "all-new" model. Should come down in a few months, then again at the end of the model year.

There's a model with no sunroof nowadays? It was standard on US-bound ISes before. I suppose that explains the price drop - at least partially.

Yes. Couple threads early on about no sunroof. Also now charging for paint colors. But they did make the larger wheels standard, along with the new tech.
Chicago Area - Why So Long Getting '21 IS in Stock
It seems like no dealerships in the Chicago area have these on the lots yet. I know these are all built in Japan but it seems like it's been an eternity since the "release date".

I was at Lexus and yeah, sunroof is an option now. I believe it’s around $1,200 extra. I was shocked when I went to see the new IS 350 and it had no sunroof.
Just saw these at the mall to sit in. Grecian water looks nice, too bad can’t get the white interior with Fsport. Does the Fsport package make that big a difference in handling or feel?

White interior is only available with F-Sport. You may have it the other way around.
My 2020 IS350 F-Sport is sloppy and soft in the normal setting. In Sport and Sport + mode, it firms up predictably. I have not driven a non-F-Sport to compare the suspension. However my 2008 IS250 with F-springs handled a tad nicer than the 2020's "Sport" settings.

Sorry I meant the Fsport dynamic handling pack that only comes with the black interior
Well, just when I thought Lexus Canada could not make more dumb ideas, they did again with the 2021 IS. You can't get the Mark Levinson system with any of the IS350 or F sport version, you can only get it in the IS300 Luxury package.
Well, I will just take my business on the US side of the border where at least, you can order it as an Option, or maybe just ditch Lexus all together and go back to Acura.
What a F'up run division in this country - Still make an IS RWD available but will not give us an RC RWD
^^ Another thing I dislike, run-flats!! At least, Lexus Canada is allowing the IS300 to be had with the F Sport package, but I still can't get why they would leave out the Mark Levinson stereo out of all F Sport trims, even on the 350 with the Dynamic package.
This car has been a major L all-over. Corners being cut and features missing or now extra for. The sunroof being an option is an absolute joke. The lack of power-folding on the Dumbo side mirrors was bad enough, but wow. Lexus seems to have forgotten that they're in the luxury market and used to stand shoulders above competitors due to great standard features (or at least those that weren't singled out as singular options). I'm incredibly disappointed. But for how bad 2020 has been, Lexus was very on-brand with this car. I waited a whole year for this refresh and while the looks are great, the features are blah. Not even holding my breath for addition of features for 2022.

I'm guessing, they probably did this to keep the MRSP under a certain threshold so they can make claims and appeal to a broader demographic.
