Started with the highest level and after a couple of mins it goes down to level two and then level one, but after leaving it on from the highest to the lowest level the seat is at best just barely warm. If the heat is on in the car i can barely tell if my seat warmers are even working since the temp blends in. On the other hand the heat and ac is amazing in the lex. In my audi and benz the heated seats will burn your behind in just a couple of mins
I did some searching and came upon this thread where people is having issue with theirs also, which lexus knows about. Its been a year since anyone post anything new or any updates. I want to know if any people have this issue and if lexus have a fix for it.

My 17 has a setting in the infotainment system that allows you to set to allow it dail it down, like it’ll step down from 3 dots to 2 dots then eventually just stays at one. You can also turn the feature off and it’ll stay full power until you turn it off.

No, just the F-sport had the problem.

I think mine are fine (2015 IS 250), I normally keep them on the 2nd setting because I think the 3rd get too warm and after a while you just get used to it.. But something I noticed with the cool seat function, I was given a 2018 RC 350 loaner, those cooled seats were amazing and actually felt cold as opposed to the ones in my IS which feel like just a fan blowing lukewarm air.

Damn, I have just the opposite problem, I can only use mine on 1 because anything else will set me on fire.

Should have had the back of the seats heated as well though...

Default 2017 rx350 weak heated seats

Got a 2017 rx350 just wondering if anyone else thinks the heated seats are a joke, on the lowest setting you should not even bother. On the highest setting on the button and the dash you can barley feel it. We took car to the dealership and they replaced the heating elements but its still the same.

Probably want to discuss that with fellow RX owners: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...6-present-273/

FWIW, I've always found the best way to set mine to 2, and then set to 1 as soon as it starts to feel hot. Works fine for me.

2016 here and my seats get pretty hot at level 3. More than enough for me.

I own a 2015 IS 250, I feel like my heated seat has gotten weaker, might go to Lexus one of these days and get it checked out. I was given a loaner from the dealership, 2017-2018 RC 350.. the heated and cold seat functions worked a lot better on that then my own car.

I had the same problem then my lower back portion stopped working. Dealer quoted me $1200 for replacement since they have to completely replace the back portion of the seat. Since getting the new seat, I need to keep it on "1 bar" since it gets scorching hot.
