I have a 2014 non-f sport, non-nav is250 and I have always wanted my android phone (note 8) to be able to connect via usb. For some reason my car does not allow this, does anyone else have this problem? I used to have the samsung s6 before I got the Note 8 so it isn't because the phone is too new. I currently connect via bluetooth which is okay but I would love some more interface between my phone and car. Does anyone know of any options for me? Doesn't have to be just usb I'm open to anything that connects my phone and car better. Thanks for your help!
The Wirelinq cable has special computer chip that essentially tricks the USB port in vehicles to think a Ipod is attached but it is your Android device playing instead.

Can anyone shed light if this will work for the 2017 IS300 F-sport. I want to put my waze on the display screen, any solution?

The Wirelinq is an audio integration only solution. It does not protray/mirror/video anything from screen of phone. Only song text info like a Ipod would.
i'll try to shoot a video of this cable in action in my Lexus when I have some free time.
If you search on YouTube as well you can find install guides. If you have Android, wireless mirroring sounds awesome. You could also download the Android auto app on your phone and then your car display will basically look as if it has Android auto.
+1. There's no HDMI port in the car... How is that thing supposed to be connected?
Watch the video on Beat Sonics site. It adds an HDMI port to your car. It even goes as far to explain what extras you will need for connecting a "Crapple" Iphone or Android phone.
I have a Galaxy S7 connected via the Actiontec Screen Beam. It works flawless!
I have the beatsonic dvd nav in motion paired with the "camcorder cable" rca to 3.5mm jack going in to my aux port, then a rca to hdmi signal converter which gives me hdmi in. It's a little cheaper than going the entire beatsonic way. Depending if you have an android or iphone you'd get a different hdmi device. the iphone uses the lightning to hdmi, and the androids can either use a mhl cable if it's supported, or a wifi display receive.
