I just got a 2015 IS 250 F sport without navigation and I am having some issues with the text messaging. My phone pairs up to bluetooth and receives phone calls without any problems but the text message part of it is hit or miss. It seems like when I go to check my messages it doesn't pull in any of the new messages. Even when I receive a text while driving it will pop up the notification on the screen but when I select to read it will read one of the old messages from a day ago and not the new message. Does anyone else have this problem?
I have a Verizon Samsung Note 4. I've tried deleting all of the text messages and that worked to get it to pop up the notification on the screen but it still has the issue of reading old messages and not the new one.
Experiencing about the same thing with my Nexus 4. Sometimes I'll hear my cellphone receiving a new text message, but it won't ever pop-up on the screen. But if I manually go see the messages, it's there... Sometimes it works like a charm...
Wait, what exactly does this do? We can see / hear text messages through the entertainment system? I have a 2016 200t without Nav and I don't recall seeing this feature...
So although I can receive text messages, when I select to reply and select the response message in the pre-created responses and try to send, I get an error.
Has anyone experienced this and fixed it?
