Voice Command For Reading SMS/MMS Text Messages
Is there a voice command to read an incoming text message?
I have found the SMS menu with a list of messages but would like the hands-free option...

I am curious about the same/very similar situation.
I have a 2013 rx 350. I had an older Nokia phone synced up with my bluetooth and it was awesome for texts: All text to voice to text. The best part was the voice to text for hands free replying. I just got a new Motorola and when I synced up the bluetooth, a whole new text feature I'd never seen before came on line. Now I have to use the nav system screen and joystick to have the incoming text read to me, and I only have the option of "quick reply," which consists of me having to choose a phrase from the screen with the joystick... Not very cool.
