Bite the bullet and go to a shop. Mounting and dismounting low-profile tires without the proper equipment is not only likely to be unsuccessful, but also sounds like a sure-fire way to ruin your rims.
Hey thanks for the replies. I didn’t mean to sound ungrateful, just checking if anybody has had success on their own.
i have the sensor already just looking to see if there is a way to replace it without involving a shop. I see a lot of DIYs on YouTube but they are all higher profile tires. Using this things like bead breaker tools and other home brew methods.
anyway prob best to leave it to the pros for this one, but maybe I’ll wait a bit longer for when I need tires replaced so I can kill 2 birds with one stone and maybe save $
I bought 4 off brand off eBay and payed discount tires like $50 to break the seals and install. I don't know if they'll program them as I have a programmer.

make sure you write the codes down before they get installed inside the tires. If you have one of those aftermarket "cloners", you'll need the programmer for them to write your old TPMS codes onto them.
The video below shows how to get into the TPMS settings at 15:50 mark (if you have access to Techstream and cable).
Trying some DIY methods I’ve seen on YouTube but none are really applicable to a wide and low profile tire. (is250 w 18s)
anybody done this with success? Or will I have to bite the bullet and go to a shop? Assuming the world doesn’t end lol jk
Without the proper equipment even breaking the bead and getting into the tire could be dangerous on a low profile tire, due to the stiff sidewall and not having much flex. Also the potential for damage to the wheel lip or bead of the tire causing a tire to leak. We would recommend having a shop perform this service. If you would like a quote, please feel free to shoot us a PM.

Thank you for your business. Also we would be happy to program the sensors if they are a multi application sensor, as well perform the TPMS relearn procedure to link them to the vehicle.
I have bought and programmed new TPMS sensors and installed them on my (new) wheels. I did the smart thing and had a reputable tire shop mount and balance the tires. For under a $100 bucks, I wouldn't risk damaging a wheel or killing myself. To each their own, though. Man up and let a professional with the proper tools do it quickly and for cheap!
