Default Tpms help!

Can anyone tell me if this brand of TPMS are reliable ones and if they are comptable/programable with our vechicles?

I tried looking for the Pacific Industries ones on Ebay that everyone says is cheap but had no luck. I did find these ones from Dorman

http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-8849...tor%2520Sensor

Also found this one.
Amazon Amazon

If there is another brand I should go with please say do.

Thank in advance

Nothin beats OEM.. Try lookin on Craig's for a person parting out the same car or generation that the TPMS is compatible with. That's what I did , got them for $25 each. Good luck with whatever route you go with!

Were you able to get them programmed to your car?

I actually haven't tried programing them yet. But found this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ebay-tpms.html

They talk about how it has to have the part number PMV-107J on it, which is what I got. They don't come with the retaining nut or valve cap but you can find those at any tire shop. Hope this helps

As long as the battery is good they should program over with no issue.
I have the same sensors in my 19"s and Discount Tire Direct programmed them in.
So now I can switch from the 19"s to the stock 18"s with no issues on the 2nd set of sensors that are saved on my car now.

a search in ebay motors using the key word "pmv-107j" pulls up the following auctions.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-09-TOY...c2aa8e&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-USED-...16f643&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-09-TOY...c2a75a&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-LEXUS...9c26b5&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/06-07-08-TOY...ad4d82&vxp=mtr

there are so many more listed that CL mods might think i was spamming if i listed more, but you get the idea.

long story short, TPMS sensors w/ model number PMV-107J can be programmed to the 2is.

I just ordered these yesterday so I will report back. The seller has a 100% rating so that is a very good sign. For under $80 this could be a steal.

Dorman makes quality products but I've never used their TPMS before. They are more of an "aftermarket solutions" company in that they make replacement products that typically fail in their original design. I am currently running TPMS from Dill and they work just fine.

I just had the wheels and tires installed. These worked perfectly. The tire shop was able to use these without any problem. They did have to add $32 total because these did not come with nuts or anything else to install them but it was still worth it. I suggest them.
