Default eBay TPMS

Looking to get a second set of TPMS. I found a couple sets for $52.00 shipped and they are OEM (Pacific Japan). I have two questions about these.

May be dumb, but will these work on a 2007 IS250awd?

And, do these seem legit?

This is from the eBay listing:

"We are offering for sale 4 NEW OEM (Pacific Japan) Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS)

** Please verify that your Original Sensor has the part number: PMV-107J on it.

*** These are for the below models w/ 20 Degree Mount & w/ Original Number PMV-107J. These are Original Factory Replacement Sensors that will match the sensors on your car."

alright, to get them programmed, do they need to be installed in the wheel or can I just hand them the sensors?

tpms needs to be installed on the wheels and the wheels on the car to be programmed.

All it is is a scan and program. I guess they can do it without being on the wheel, but its probably best to do it when they're on.

Good to know

I won't have the wheels by the time I get the sensors, but I am going to get service done in a week so I want to get them to program the sensors while I'm there.

They can be programmed before hand easily.... Using the Toyota or Lexus Techstream tool to input the id codes into the car...

The only hiccup is that you will get a "Check System" Light for the TPMS sensors..
Because the system is looking for sensors that have not been installed yet... (or initialized yet)

The Light goes away after the sensors have been installed and pressurized.

alright, will the light be on even if its the second set of tpms, since we can choose between the 1st and 2nd set.

I'd keep it on the 1st set until I put the new wheels on, then change it to the 2nd set.

^^ Yes... The light will be ON.. doesn't matter which set is selected..

The reason is when NEW, the sensors are dormant.. So when you input them in the system, it automatically tries to "wake them up"..

When it can't, it throws the light..

but as soon as you get the 2nd set initialized, you can easily switch between the two. That's what I do between my stocks and my other set.
