I carry my Smith and Wesson M&P .45 in a Gum Creek Customs holster/mount. A picture was already posted on page 2, the one of the holster right under the steering wheel.

Wow....This is what I call the most logical place. I do not even own a gun, but the steering column is the most logical place to have it.

I had a feeling he was wrong. That's why i added "so he says". He's kind of hard headed.

Guns arent for everyone. But rest assured is this exact same state of mind many victims in high income areas had before they were attacked. Not saying you should live your life nervous, even before having a firearm I never was. However like the saying goes, I rather be caught with one then without one.

I own over 15 guns and rifles including a Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle .... And will tell you from experience your chances of using a gun in defense is less then 10 percent out of 100 percent . Most guns are used for offense or the crime. I got a concealed weapons permit and a class 3 fire arms license and I prefer to open carry in a holster over keeping it in the car any day. If you pumping gas and someone is prepared to rob you... You are screwed choir weapon is in the car. You might as well had left it at home.

But if you weapon is in plain view most people refuse to Rob or bother a person they know is armed.

I had a situation years ago where I opened my garage got out my car, went to the trunk to get my bag from walmart and out of now where my door to my house opens and it was 3 guys that had broken into my house from the back. They where running in with a gun but I had my glock 32 right on my side in the shoulder harness. I stopped one guy and the other 2 gave up. If my gun was in my glove box or in the car I would have been ****ed... End of story.

Always always keep your weapon on you if possible otherwise it's a paper weight.

Open carry with permit is coming to Okla. in Nov. I believe. I personally wish it would have stayed the way it was...gonna seem weird to see the average Joe packin' in public.

Yeah here in tx u can . I mostly only open carry after night time. Other then that I keep it concealed in the day light hours or out in public where kids and stuff are. I just where a tank top then shoulder holster ,then regular t shirt and you are good to go. I use to use the waist holster but they get in the way

Guys this is NOT the place to debate gun laws.

Please stick to the topic on hand which is mounting options/ideas.

i have my cc permit.
I have my gun in the open sans 2 step rule.
I also mounted a holster in easy reach and keep my side arm fully loaded.
I get pulled over all the time due to illegal limo tint and tuckin rim.... Never a word is said about my piece being out in the open

concealed 9mm on the side and a AR15 in the back seat.

They need to make a way to conceal my AR15. Maybe like a custom modification that allows me to lift up my seats like a chest.
