Are you interested in possibly swapping your dash? Mine has a crack on the passenger side and is sticky closer to the windshield but its all there and really not that bad it just bothers me, id obviously be willing to pay something. Just thought id give it a shot since ur parting with your fantastic ride. If your willing lmn, we might work something out

Thanks CCJ22, I ended up circuit writing all four connections and it works. Now I have another issue perhaps you can help me with. I saw in another thread that you had to replace your dash because of the melting issue. Well, when I removed the center vent to get to the NAV unit, it basically destroyed the dash. I barely touched it and it crumbled. I had removed the NAV unit 2-3 times before without any issues (nav-hack) but that was nearly 3 years ago. I am way out of warranty so it looks as though I need a new dash. Can you let me know how you got it replace for $800? Thanks in advance and sorry to keep bothering you.

    Hi CCJ22,

I was reading the thread regarding frozen NAV and I have the same problem. I have taken everything apart and have the screen by itself. I am confused what to do with the ribbon and 4 connectors. I have a multimeter but not sure if I am using it correctly. I have yet to open/etch the screen or anything. I notice in a post that you are willing to fix it for those in FL. If you are in the South Florida area send me a PM and approximately how much you will charge. Thanks.
