Redline goods leather shift boot install w/pics
i couldn't be happier with the quality of these boots. they fit better than stock as the leather is much thicker.
here is the install pics.
all you have to do is remove center console by first pulling up from behind cup holder lid, and it should all unsnap. give it a firm, but controlled tug, don't worry it wont break.
remove stock boots, and reverse the steps and the new ones are installed. no problem. perfect fit, they even sewed velcro where that little snap button was, the attention to detail is amazing. Toight loik a toiger.
Maciek at www.redlinegoods.com, in Poland was very helpful in getting my OEM boots developed into a new product from them, and i think i will be sending my center console in as well! they offer extra padding too!

Ahhh you beat me to it! I was seriously considering getting them to do my shift boot, as my current one is pretty beat up. I just haven't found time to contact them about it or anything. Good to know it's very clean and looks great! I was going to do the same design with mine...Black leather with white stitching...
Did you send your OEM shift boot in for them to make a template? (The free shift boot deal they have for cars they don't currently support)
Or do they already have a template for our cars?

I might need to do this. I actually would really love an alacantara shift boot but I haven't found one yet.
Does anyone's OEM shift boot make an annoying rubbing sound over bumps as it rubs against itself when in 6th gear?

This is off topic, but how did you mount that navigation unit? What modifications did you have to do to get it to work? I wasn't aware that we could mount a navigation like that!
