Got my recall letter and another letter from Lexus giving me a $1,500 voucher for a new or lease PLUS the $500 gift card. No extended warranty purchased here... I wouldn't listen to what everyone says on here. False info...

I WAS supposed to get this recall done this past weeken but HOY FOX Lexus decided not to schedule me an appt even though I made an appt online, and spoke to TWO service advisors. I drove 7 hours to get this recall, floormat recall, and battery replaced. So when I got to the stealership and they said I had no appt scheduled. And it just so happened that BOTH of the advisors I spoke with called in sick. So I got ****ed and was only able to get the battery and floormat done. I was so upset. On top of that I had to fight with them to get a loaner. Horrible experience. I called the manager and I shared my experience with Lexus USA.

So did you get the gift card before or after you had the recall done? Because I got the recall letter followed by the voucher 2-3 days after in a separate letter with no mention of the card. Recall is due to be done 11/30

After the "we apologize" sentence mine says

"To give you further peace of mind and confidence in the quality and durability of Lexus vehicles, we are providing you with a complimentary 6-year, 100,000 mile power train vehicle service agreement through Lexus Financial Services (LFS), providing you with added benefits during this coverage period. In the next few weeks, you will receive a letter from LFS with more details"

Luck of the draw I guess. We'll see if anything happens after I get the recall done.

Mine only came with a certificate? And didn't mention anything about a gift card. I do not have extended warranty and only have about 40k miles. My car is paid off if that matters. And they also extended my powertrain warranty.

Everyone get's the $1500 off a new car.

If you have you have an extended warranty, CPO, over 70,000 miles, you get the $500.00 prepaid Visa Lexus Loyalty Card, or perhaps more depending on how well your recall 'experience' went.

If none of the above applies, your power train warranty is extended to 100,000 miles, no time extension.

EK9vboi, I don't anyway is purposely providing any "False Information", they are just sharing their experiences with the current recall to help other members.

Just got a letter from PNC Bank with my $500 debit card, expires on 11/11. Here's what it says on the bottom 3rd of the letter typed word for word using italics and bolds from the letter:

THANK YOU AND ENJOY YOUR $500 LOYALTY CARD!

Thank you for being a part of the Lexus family. To demonstrte our gratitude for your patronage and ongoing support, we are enclosing a $500 Lexus Loyalty Card that can be used toward the purchase of parts and services at your Lexus dealership.

Your Lexus Loyalty Card expires 1 year from the date of issuance. Customer Service for the card is available by calling 1-866-453-5071 (please be prepared to provide your Account Access Code which is the last 4 digits of your Card Number). You may also visit www.pncprepaidcard.com to view your card balance, transaction history, or change the Account Access Code on your card.

Sucks how not everyone gets the gift card. I rather replace that stupid $1500 certificate for the $500 gift card.

So do you have to get a letter in order to bring it in? The thing is, I bought my car used but it still has the factory warranty on it. The salesman supposedly took it too lexus but they didn't perform a valve spring recall according to the lexus records.
