Default Tire Sensor Warning light

Just installed 20inch rims with out sensors on them how do i get the warning light to go off ?

u need to put TPMS sensors in and bring it to the dealer to program it. you can program up to 2 sets of TPMS. GLWUM

well theres strikes 2 and 3 right there...unless you put the sensors in your dubs, the light wont go off.

There is a way to trick it by sticking it into a PVC pipe and then pressurizing it with air.

We call it a "pipe bomb"

just do a search for pipe bomb

No, there doesn't.

The TPMS system is required by federal law.

As mentioned you can put the 4 sensors in a pressurized canister (or some folks put em in their spare, which means you can't use the spare, but with 20s you're not likely to anyway).

But you can not get around the system requiring 4 active, pressurized, sensors nearby and working.

The guy I bought the car from put it in a hand truck tire. It's in the trunk and fools the car. Its similar to the pipe bomb.

I'm glad you posted this because I just put on 19's and i have the same problem. So which would be better, putting them to the tire or in a PVC pipe?

If I were you then I would get those sensors on the wheels. If your 19s aren't compatible with the sensors. iForged sells sensor brackets.

Yeh I bought work varianza's and the guy was like you can tape or glue them to your wheels I was like yeh....no hahah

well thank you I'll have to check that out
