2008 IS350 here. You guys save me after a night of spirited driving. So I didn't understand what you guys were saying at first probably because of the panic. But what I did was switch the switch to the closed position let it do its thing then press and hold the button inward it's going to try to close again and won't. Keep pressing and holding the button it's going to try to close again and it will LOL. Y'all know how much it rains in HoustonTX

 

Sunroof not opening or making a noise at all. Any suggestions? I also notice vanity lights, done lights and door lights are met working as well. I replaced fuses..

 

I have the same problem on a 2010 RX. It vents up and down, but does not open and close even going thru the reset sequence.
Brought to dealership, and was quoted $6.5K to replace entire sunroof assembly because a wire/harness broke.

My kids car, and need to get 1 more year out of it before college graduation. Telling her to not use sunroof unless I figure something else out.

This happened to me as I was pulling out of my garage to go to the gym. Sunroof was all the way open and won't close at all (IS350 2006)

I did the reset thing and nothing happened.

I remember there is a feature where if you hold the unlock button down on the key FOB while all doors are closed and windows up and car off (while you are standing outside the car) it automatically opens the windows and moonroof. I did this and all windows came down. Then I went back inside and tried the moonroof close and it worked.
