more than likely, you will need fender mods.

the need to mod your fenders increases as your ride height decreases.

if you have deep enough pockets, you can make anything work.

and see above reply to the other post.

if your ride height is conservative enough, you MIGHT be able to get away with it.

any lower, and those sizes will be too wide - even w/ a 30-series in the rear.

225/35-19 up front, 245/35-19 in the rear.

you might be able to stuff a 255/35-19 in the rear if you really tried, but that's pushing clearance w/ rolled fenders and shaved/trimmed tabs.
Thanks so much! One last question... If I go with larger offsets, 19x8.5 + 35 and 19x9.5 +38, will my tire choices change by much? The wheel place told me I should be running 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 but I'm concerned they might be too wide. I'm on coils and I'd basically like to drop the car to where the tires are just barely tucked, so no visible gap above the tire.

Weds SA55M

19 inches

Can I put 19X9 +45 on the front without the problem of inner rim interfering with suspension control arm?

Member here (SB350) uses 19x9 +38 with 225/35/19 on the front but I don't want to mod the front fender-bumper tab when I lowered my car.

OR..

I can go with 19x8 +35??

What do you expert suggest?

should be able to, with fender modifications.

19 x 9 +45 is 1/2" farther in (towards suspension components) than oem 18" front wheels.

19 x 8 +35 is ~3/8" more aggressive (read: farther outside) than oem 18" front wheels. you shouldn't need fender modifications.

You should be fine with the 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with + 38 rubbing wise. Front you can run a 235/35/19 and a 265/30/19 .I ran this setup and only rubbed in the front (fender linear) when i was tucking half the tire. I was also running +33 and + 30 though. You wont need to roll or shave or do any fender modifications. Id actually got with a 225/35, or if you want the stretch look, go with a 215 and a 245

19x10 +36, O Disk, 84 mm lip, 265/30/19 (AWD)

Can anyone comment on the Disk Type, or if there is a better way to go? MV, Project?
Anyone??

Do people typically run ) Disk front and rear? Or standard in the front and O in the rear? I don't have bbk.

you can get away with A disk front and O disk rear if it's an IS250 oem caliper.

But for IS350 or IS250 with F sport caliper, R disk are required for the front and R disk rear are required.

since your a 250 you can run O all around. those offsets will lok sweet. roll all 4 fenders. you can run 245/35 for the stretched look or run 265/35 for meat flush(tire flush with fender) you would be able to tuck these, but since your awd going to low will cause vibration from the axle angles. 265/30 would be BEST for the rear.

apologies for the late response, but i'm not familiar with the disk types for the VS-XX's.

however, those tire sizes are close enough that you can use them for the 2is awd...

assuming you can stuff them under the 2is fender sheet metal without issues.

Thanks, Mark. What offsets would you suggest? I just got a buyer for my 818s so hopefully I'll be giving you a call here soon.

Thanks. Why is it so difficult buying wheels.

I'd really have to roll the fronts? I had 19x8.5 +30 and they didn't seem that close. The rears are "semi" shaved, don't ask. I'm not looking to tuck, just no gap. Any more conservative offsets? Maybe 19x8.5 +32 A Disk with the 19x10 +36 O Disk? 3 mm doesn't seem that much though.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I'm confused by your last comment though about stuffing the tires. I figured they would fit better than the 235/35 275/30 I had before.

you're correct; they would fit better. i wasn't reading your post correctly.

on a semi-related note, the 2is wheelwells aren't quite cavernous, so small changes in terms of tires size and wheel offsets causes issues.

another important factor is ride height: as it decreases, so does the amount of wheelwell space and clearance...

with the more conservative setup if you have a slight shave in the rear, they should fit.
