With a 2" drop, some camber will be dialed in naturally.

225/35-19 up front with 235/35-19 will work fine.

If you wanted to be absolutely sure the rears won't rub (The fronts definitely won't), then I would run 225/35-19 all around, with a good stretch tire (i.e. Dunlop Direzza DZ101, Falken 452, Nexens and Nankangs). That is, if you don't mind a narrow tire on a relatively wide wheel.

Thanks for the input guys.

@bforbrian - I don't think I could do with thin tires. I couldn't get used to the driving.

Guess I'll have to try to find another set.

Hello all. Im currently looking at the forgestar f14 wheels in 18s for my is250. Ive never purchased wheels before so this is new to me. Heres my options for the front:
18x8.5, 35mm, 40mm, or 45mm offset
Rear:
18x9.5, 35mm, 40mm, or 45mm offset
I just need advice on what will work and look the best with no rubbing issues.

Thanks!

I cant answer your question specifically but I would just order from Forgestar directly if you're not. Peter was very helpful when I was ordering my wheels. They can help you get the right size. I went +35 in the front and +42 in the rear but they are 19's. (Forgestar F14F)

Default I don't know what i'm doing.

I have a 2008 is250. I want to get a set of Lorenzo WL19 wheels in black. They only make them in 18" and 20"....Are 18's too small?

I don't think I can choose the offset of the wheel, as it appears the only come as follows:

18x8 front +45mm 18x9.5 rear +48mm

20x8.5 front +35mm and 20x9.5 +35mm

Will those offsets work?

both offsets will work without fender mods, and i prefer 18's on a 2is over 20's and most of the time over 19's also

thatll work all around. you can tuck 9.5+20 in the rear completely on coils . just roll all around, mod the front bumper tab and your set

I have a IS250 AWD and am looking to get Varrstoen ES 1.1.1 (BBS reps). The specs are 18x9 with 40 offset. I will be using that wheel spec all around, nonstaggered. I just wanted to make sure i can run this with no modification or wheel spacers. I will have a conservative drop with BCR coilovers. IF this setup will work, what size tires do i need?

^^^^^^^ I thought you were getting those Enkei's?

I'm looking at VS-XX's:

19x8.5 +29, O Disk, 72 mm lip, 225/35/19 (AWD)
19x10 +36, O Disk, 84 mm lip, 265/30/19 (AWD)

Can anyone comment on the Disk Type, or if there is a better way to go? MV, Project?

Hey guys, checking on fitment:

Front: 19x8.5 +30
Rear: 19x9.5 +25

I know 8.5/9.5 usually work F/R but didn't know if the offsets would be too low. I am going to be on coilovers. What type of fender mods would I need if any?

Thanks!

offsets are considerably low, enough to need fender mods.

roll + shave/trim fender/bumper tabs.

if your ride height is conservative enough, you MIGHT be able to get away with it.

any lower, and those sizes will be too wide - even w/ a 30-series in the rear.

225/35-19 up front, 245/35-19 in the rear.

you might be able to stuff a 255/35-19 in the rear if you really tried, but that's pushing clearance w/ rolled fenders and shaved/trimmed tabs.
