10.5 is a bit much in my opnion. When you have to stretch out tires and the wheel lip sticks out past the rubber, it's looks odd like a rolled sock. I think the rubber should run past the lip or at least on par. I think 9.5 is fine for the rear, otherwise you're going to look like a lowrider with wheel stickout the side like you're running the limbo bar on roller skates.

I also disagree, 9.5 is such a weak width IMO, some of us running 10.5 aren't even stretching tires too much like with 275/30 on the rear or 265/35.

It's all personal taste. Do you want to look like a musche car and run 10.5 with low offset or do you want to run tucked with 9.5 and high offset? It's what you want. Seoul is right.

Do you mean muscle car? I run 10.5+29 and I definitely do not look like a muscle car........

Default offset question for IS350

I have had my 06 IS350 for about a year and am thinking of putting some new rims on once my tires need to be replaced and I have a question about off sets. I'm new to the forum (love it on it all day at work). Im thinking of getting the HRE 893R or Work XSA O2C in 19". What offset do you fellow 350s use for your after market rims? Any help would be great.

Are you a visual performance guy or a mechanical performance guy?

I would say a little of both, but performance is more important.

If mechanical performance is most important, then you want to stick with the stock offsets - +45mm front and +55mm rear. If you are concerned about getting your wheels flush, then you're more into visual performance and you'll need to look at the myriad threads we have using the keyword "flush" to get offset information.

I would not drive a car with "flush" wheels at the track. It's a bad idea in many ways. If your plan is to look good and impress the style and fashion crowd, run offsets making the wheels flush.

Thanks Lexi D for making this post. What are the "perfect" offset for the agressive stance? I'm thinking of getting Volk ProgressivMe 19" with F-Sport lowering springs.
