This might be a newb question, but here goes nothing.

For a RWD 2IS, what is the rule on running staggered setup? It is required? Or we can basically roll similar width all around given wheel well will suffice?

I was thinking of running 19x9.5 all around with the offset of 22... will that offset be too big for the front since it is 9.5 with 22 OS?

I am a total noob with wheel fitment, please don't hate

 

I've removed the tab and cut parts of the front fender where there is potruding metal behind it, then shaved down the metal to get more clearance. So I will just need to pull all the fenders and run stretched tires all around?

I'm still hesitant cause the front seems way too wide...but this is very tempting.

 

what disc is it again, and how much is the back spacing on the wheel, i dont think you would have a problem with the front hitting anything. maybe upper control arm on tire but i doubt it with a +15 and a 235/35
you would have to roll and MAYBE slight pull your fender depending on the drop with running a 225/35.
with the rear just roll or shave the guards, you can run the same size tires if you wish or you can run like a 235/35 or 245/35

most likely not. tire size would be your main issue.

245/30-19 is too short of a tire and will throw off the speedometer and odometer. the outside shoulder of the tire may not clear the fender/fender tabs on suspension compression.

235/35-19 will work.

 

So is it the fender tab that kills my dreams of 245 width tires? Would removing that revitalize my dreams or would it need more work?

 

firstly, i need to correct my previous post (quoted).

245/30-19 is actually closer to 225/40-18 in terms of overall height than 245/35-19 is; the 35-series tire is 5/8" taller, while the 30-series tire is a little over a 1/4" shorter.

in short, it is shorter, but not "too short".

however, it won't be the tire height that'll be the issue but the tire treadwidth. if you don't have enough clearance between the shoulder of the tire and the fender at a static ride height and suspension compression, you'll end up with either shredded tires or crumpled fenders.

the fender tab is not the only thing that is killing your dreams of 245 up front, so removing it wouldn't do much. see above.

either plan for fender work (rolled or shaved fenders + shaved fender tabs), thinner-treadwidth tires, and/or different spec'd wheels.

Would this work without a pull? My rear fender is shaved and the fronts are rolled, tabs modded, heat gunned and trimmed liner.

What size tire do i need, i'm trying to slightly tuck if possible.
19x9.5 +15mm
19x11.0 +5mm

btw, understand that i'm not trying to discourage you from running 245's up front.

however, reality is, 245 up front will require a very small window of the right wheel specs, or else you'll need fender modifications to compensate (read: create more clearance).
