Lexus usually gets new models in Fall, usually Sept/Oct
Do you think the new 2013 re-designed IS will be out this Sept Oct 2012? or will they wait till after Jan 2013 to release the re-designed IS

yeah my dealer also mentioned the new ES coming around the August time frame. There's a thread in car chat that also mentions that, as well as the 3IS debuting in early 2013. So it sounds like the 3IS might be on a similar release schedule as the 4GS and not the traditional Fall release.

my dealer indicated that the new IS is going to be released in late 13 as a MY2014 which im actually happy with I want to have the "newest looking" model for at least another two years

Once this new model comes out the price on the 2IS will drop, if the new model is awesome then im going to pull the trigger on the 2014 ISF in 2015....well thats the plan at least.

Disappointing since this model began in 06', thats a really really long cycle without a major makeover.

The 3rd gen IS will be a december/january release. Maybe you guys haven't noticed but thats becoming a trend for Toyota Corporation. The 2012 Camry was also released late. Expect the same for the 3IS like we also saw with the 4GS.

I REALLY don't like the direction the front of the new Lexus line up is going...our cars right now have a sweet aggressive angle in the front...the new design seems to follow that line until the grill...the branch out in the opposite direction...they should have just elaborated on what was working...
