IS 300 year 2009
I am trying to be a lexus IS owner. As i am from middle east i can only get a IS300 and not IS350 which is not sold here. IS300 is everything like IS350, just difference is in the litres and hp. I was really into IS350 but sadly its not available here. Anyway , i am thinking to get IS300. Does any one here owns IS300 2009? I do really feel sad .

well I don't think i should convince you , you should decide whether it's the right car for you or not.
The car is OK, no mechanical problems whatsoever, after all it's a Lexus, but there are several things like rattles and the lack of power that depends if you care about much or not.
maintenance should be expensive if you'll keep visiting the dealer, find a good reputable shop and forget the dealer.
I say you should def take a test drive and see by yourself.

there are only two "major" problems with the car. one being the lack of space in the back, and the other being the lack of some REAL power (that the 350 has). Of course its not a slow car or anything but its not fast fast either
other than that the car is truly amazing. get the 09, since it looks better, with the gfx kit and then slap some nice rims on it and it will look truly amazing.
oh and get it in white ;-)

is that the same engine from the original IS? or does it come with direct injection?
