AGGRESSIVE ISX50 wheel thread
what kind of fender mods will i need?
im already lowered on megan lp coils and have front roll and flared a little.
thanks
I need advice on wheel fitment, currently on X-package wheels with 215/40 and 235/40 Continental DWS with F&R 20/25 mm spacers.
Front and rear fenders have been rolled, sitting on Megan coilovers.
I want to use my existing tires and go 18x9.5 +22 & 18x10.5 +22. Any clearance issues? (I don't feel like running on 35 series with 19's atm).

why would he need a spacer or positive camber. most people having to end up pulling slightly with 10.5+22 cause they arent low enough and dont have enough negative camber.
please dont ill-advise people about wheel offsets. if they dont turn out the way you described, they end up bummed or having to do more fender work then origanally wanted.

this is incorrect, have you ever seen 10.5+22 on an IS?

stock IS's cant adjust rear camber
you mean poke like crazy
only thing thats correct outta that statement

i could show examples of tons of offsets on my own cars.
there isnt much camber to gain by going to smaller wheels. the most STOCK camber you can get out of a 2is is about -5.7* and thats with being as low as i was(tucking rim on 19's). any average drop your gunna be about -3*.

the reason i posted the first pic, is because that is unsprung suspension at full droop. meaning 18 or 19x/10.5+22 will poke the same amount.
the 2is fenders are farely shallow, so 18x9.5/10.5+22 is aggressive already.
i also realize that it is up to the owner on how much poke stretch and everything he wants on his car. all i was saying is please do not mis-inform people on an offset that you have completely figured out yet.
i try to give the best advice i can only because ive f*d with so many different setups

18x9.5 (static camber w/just dropping the car)
18x11.5 (rolled no pull rear upper adjustable camber arms adjusted 2-3mm shorter than stock)

kinda a crack head when it comes to 2is wheel setups
