I'm betting with the right tire size & less aggressive offset up front from the guy that ran a 10" wide rim on +18 offset that a 10.5" wheel is achievable without poking wayyyyy out there past fender like those tires do on lifted Jeep Wranglers.
Thoughts Mv?
My 9.5 poked out like crazy. So having a 10.5 is stupid crazy. I would not.

+18 is like the highest offset i would go with a 10, a 10.5 would have to be like a +12. you would have to be crazy like me and pull a ton to fit it.
but do you really want your fenders to look like this on your nice 30k+ car until you can either do the body work yourself like i was doing or pay money to have them re shaped for the wheels.
not usually the look you see on a sleek IS
rippled fenders, groove marks in tires, and melted rubber on your fenders and quarter panels is what you deal with until your fenders are complete

Would 10.5" wide wheel with a +45 offset not work in the front?
I'd assume the lower number offsets like +12 would make the rim poke out farther past fender
yep i was about to say the same thing. its not the offset thats the issue. its how wide the wheels are. If i recall. i did have some space before my wheels hit the arm. It was about I would say half inch, but no more than an inch though.
