these are the wheels
http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r62830782

And yes my friend got 10mm machined off of his wheels to make them fit on his CRX.

Think it can be done?

I don't think so, the most aggressive settings were a 19x9 or 19x9.5 in low offsets and 19x11 in low offset, that guy was on air and did a lot of fender mods. I'm almost positive it's not going to work. Someone should chime in soon.

venzon - I would definitely not do the 19 & 20 cause resell would be near impossible as well.

Depends, in most cases... I wouldn't do it.

Instead of building used or off the shelf stuff, just order custom wheels with the proper offsets and you will be a happy camper.

Yup my friend had local shop machine his wheels 10mm so he could make it fit. But he hardly drives it since he built it from the ground up and baby's it.

had to ***** out his cover shot.. ha ha. Winnipeg Represent!

With the roads the way there are here I don't think I could dish out the cash for a brand new set. Unless I was going to make my IS a show car.

I have narrowed it down to 2 sets and soon I'll be able to post in the thread I started!
