You put on spacers to test out your next set of wheel's offsets, that's why I put on spacers, and techinically, it works like that when you put spacers, the numbers change up. 30mm on a +8 offset? Makes it -22 right?
-22 is just a number i made up. one can not claim the "most aggressive" unless its true offsets. its just my honest opinion.
Actually, being aggressive is not always all that it's hyped up to be. It's funny everybody makes comments like "most aggressive offsets". Truth is, having a 225/35/19 tire on a 19 x 11 is pretty scary. Here in Hawaii, i only know of one tire shop that is nuts enough to mount them. Having to check your tire pressure every 2 days and having the lip of your rim stick a 1/2" past your tire is crazy. I guess it's all about the look.
Don't get me wrong, i'll be aggressive forever, but for the new guys making it a competition, becareful what you wish for. Remember these veterans have made so many sacrafices and numerous compromises to acheive this look. Members like Calviin, Seoul, Wierdazndu, iSuxel, Phil888, Robs IS250, Johnnyboy, etc. all have made hard decisions to go this route.
There are so many factors or categories in terms of aggressiveness. For example, what i think might be aggressive on 19's is not that aggressive in 20's. Plus someone with a 350 or BBK is already handicaped due to caliper size, so they have to go high disk thus reducing the amount of offset.
All i know is that there is some crazy custom setups here and i congradulate you ALL on having some ***** to do what you do on a daily basis.
