I've never taken the bumper off so I have no clue what I'm looking at in that picture lol. Is that after the modification or before?

Its actually gone. Notice at the bottom of the picture there is actually no material left to put a bolt through.
The square hole in the middle of the sheet metal in the pic? Behind that (left in the pic) you see that vertical line that ends the sheet metal? thats where its cut. Then the diagonal line going down from that near the square hole is also a cut, if I'm not mistaken.
edit: also, taking the bumper off is VERY easy. Its held on by just a couple of screws in reality. All the rest are just clips and screws to hold all the trim, front lip, lower engine covers on. Right now, because of my blower piping, mine is held on by 4 screws. 2 under the hood and two that are my "bumper tabs"

Cut then ground down and pounded flat. Tried hammering it first, but way too slow going for my taste.
And down in front we go. As soon as I free this frozen coil.
PS: Yes that is what ohio does to daily drivers. Don't move here.
Tell me a bit more about what you have done here. The pics are not that great at showing what you have done. You can gain about 1/4 inch more drop in the front by going with the Megan UCA, it is flat where the stock UCA curves up towards the shock support.Originally Posted by stewb10

And what/where did you cut and flatten? The issue I am seeing is the end of the UCA hitting the shock support, which I am not comfortable in cutting.

I had a terrible time with the attachments from my phone app.Originally Posted by quick123

So what you're seeing is actually where my tire rubbed through my fender lining on each wheel well, and the piece of extra steel that it is rubbing on above the fender liner. Im not having problems with the UCA just yet. I am in the market for Megan though sometime here soon.
Here is a pic from before I ground and pounded it down.
