That is very good MPG, basically the same as the 250.

I do about the same commute to work...20 highway 5 city. Now that the weather is warmer my miles are back up to 26 MPG. I just put 30,000 on my '07 and I'm loving the mileage.

also if i head right to the shore from the gas station i get 30 MPG on the highway...

Around town or if I'm in a city, I use snow mode and you get even better mpg honestly... Then when you take snow mode off, the car feels so damn good...

I get about 28mpg on the freeway (70-80mph) in my 250. Sometimes a larger engine with better gearing is more fuel efficient than a smaller one (eg BMW 530 vs 525).

The 350 is capable of 35+ MPG average if you set the cruise control at 60 MPH on the highway with properly inflated tires.

I'm at 23 mpg. I have to drive extra conservative to get that kind of mileage, which I won't...

When all hwy miles on a tank like on the recent road trips i have been taking i average 27.5 and up but my combined cycle is only around 19.9 but that is b/c the vast majority of my driving is in the city and i live in LA which makes things worse b/c of all the stop and go my poor lex is subjected to.

My normal highway is 28.5 mpg, my combined is about 25 mpg.

My IS350 is great when it comes to the mileage department, I've gotten 31mpg on some all highway trips in the past - although the ethanol mixed gas we're getting now is having some impact on my mileage (sigh!).

I've been driving a little more conservatively recently, and I'm getting 27 highway easily (sometimes 28), and 20-22 city if I drive like I'm 99 years old Amazing engineering by Lexus to get even this kind of mileage out of 306 HP engine.

So true.. I'm tank averaging 20.5 -> Mostly highway and some city..

My gauge reads 310 miles upon fill up..

Mostly due to the fact in the morning I have the "put the pedal to the metal" commute to work just under 35 minutes and then the drive home is an 1 and 35 minutes of stop & go LA traffic..

Plus, I'm a semi aggressive driver..

Side note: my fill ups are 91 Chevron for approx 15 gallons / $60

I need to slow down in the morning & give myself more time to do 60mph...

I get around 19-20 mpg on my 08 is350. 90% city, 10% highway/freeway. That is with a semi light foot. I was able to get 26 mpg cruising at 78-80mph.

I'm interested in hearing what the 250 owners who based their purchase off of saving $$ on gas have to say after reading this post.

When I had my IS350 I got about 25-26 mpg and I did alot of highway driving to work so I believe it. Now with my ISF given it's a V8 I was able to get 23mpg pretty efficient for a larger engine IMO...
