I'm a n00b here, but from my experience with cars..ECU enhancement has minimal effect on N/A car.

I was really in the market for an IS350, but the MPG on the 250 is surreal! It gets better MPG than a TSX, and that's a 4 banger! (granted it's a big i4, heh).

The lifetime average on my '06 IS250 with ~26,000 miles on it is 26.7MPG.

Tuesday I filled the car up, drove straight to hockey/back (about 30miles round trip, 85% freeway) then yesterday I had to drive up to Sacramento and back (about 275 miles round trip, 95% freeway but a lot of traffic) and my tank average is sitting on 34.5MPG.

There must be something wrong with my 250. I only can get 400km per tank.
city driving only ( daily average speed is 20km/h ) Yes, the traffic is really bad.

Wow... incredible for this v6, I for one thought that the BMW inline 6 is the best in the world, and it is by many margins.

But, like I said before, considering the MPG that the Lexus gives us, one could now - beg to differ.

And in another astonishing feat that barely gets mentioned, is that the IS350 gets 306 hp WITHOUT turbos... Another astonishing feat, coupled with its awesome MPG.

My AWD started at 19 on its first tank. Now it's up to 23 and I'm closing in on 2,000 miles.

Default 2IS MPG Threads (MERGED master thread)

My last tank average was 27.5 MPG.

the 377.4 miles on the trip was reset on the last fill up. I had 30 miles left on the "Distance until empty" gauge.....so the 409 miles on the tank is very accurate.

I drive 35 miles each way to work every day. 25 miles highway, 10 miles back roads. I do about 70MPH on the highway, and 30-45MPH on the back roads.

I love having the option of getting good gas mileage or using all 306HP

Any other 350 owners getting this kind of mileage?

I had 31 mpg tank average last week on a trip across FL. Incredible engineering to have 306 hp and get that
