ive gotten 27 mpg freeway without using snow mode. Just turn your display to Current MPG and play the "keep the MPG bar as high as you can" game

Just cruise at the sweet spot (~55 mph) and you will easily get +30 mpg.

My weekend trip stats for IS350:

1st tank filled on Chevron, 28 MPG with average speed 65mph
2nd tank filled on Shell, 29 MPG with average speed 73mph

both are freeway driving with occasional light stops. Both are with PWR mode ON.

I don't know how you guys can stay off the gas pedal im getting about 14.2 right now

I honestly think something must be wrong with your car or your driving if you are getting 14.X MPG average on the street. Seriously, even if I drive like a total road warrior, I can't get anywhere close to that while doing all surface streets.

Try one foot on the brake and one on the gas. You'll kill your brake pads and get crappy gas mileage all in one scoop. Then you can complain about pads and rotors in the suspension & brake forum as well as complain here about the dismal gas mileage you are getting. It's all Lexus's fault of course.

Can every one please tell us what kind of MPG are you getting from you IS.

Also please tell what mods you have done that could effect weight, wheels, tires, turbo or any other performance parts.

I am looking into the milage of a stock IS250 AWD in particular. I am hoping I can get close to 30MPG. Am I crazy?

Not entirely crazy lol,
Here's my stats;

IS250 RWD
City driving: 24-26mpg
Highway driving: 32-36mpg

Spirited driving 21mpg (ECT PWR)

Don't think you are crazy, I have a IS350, get about 27 on highway averaging 75 mph or so, but in the city it does go down to 18-20 and sadly that is where I do most of my driving.

On other forums it is really helpful to have it stickied or in FAQ

Anyone else

I drive 120 miles a day so MPG is kind of an issue with the gas prices
