I get about 26 mpg. I drive 80% hwy and 20% local. On the hwy I average about 75-80 mph. For local driving I shift usually around 4k. I was getting better mpg, maybe I should put more air in the tires. My car is at 4,3xx miles.

I think 3500 rpm is the "sweet spot" if you want to save gas......

30MPG at 80MPH
36mpg at 70mph
42mpg at 65mph flat 95% highway

My lifetime of 52,000+ miles is 29.8 mpg 90% highway miles at about 78mph everyday on my 150mile daily work commute where I average about 67mph since I hit some lights off the exits.

In city driving I get about 24mpg and some of my shifts are spirited launches. I've never gotten in the teens. I also get the 400+ miles to tank when I fill with gas. AC on takes 2mpg hit. I keep the tires at 38psi and if the dealer drops it to 32 I notice a 2 mpg hit there.

City :24.5-24
Hwy:27.3-26.9

i shift at 2500rpm and i'm a slow driver.SLOW lane all the way, except city for driving. i only go 65 in the slow lane.
i also think i have better MPG due to my 17in wheels.

When I had mine, I got 13-14 MPG.

That was 100% city driving in San Francisco, with an average speed of 11-12 MPH, starts at about 1200 RPM, and shifts at 3000-4000 RPM. I would hit 5000 RPM once per day (on a super steep hill), and redlined it about 1-2 times per month.

Note that this was the "tank average" on the display.

Like monkey, I drive about the same amount and I have 46K already on my
6mt. I get between 26-28 mpg. I don't drive it hard.
could it be the gas you are putting in?

I'm constantly getting about 18.6-19.0 mpg....mainly because I take A LOT of 5 minute drives on a cold engine . I launch at 1200rpm and shift around 3000rpm.

I only fill up about once a month though so good enough for me.

How agressive are you wilwilB? I give'er pretty good and manage about 10.9 L/100KM. I've pulled it down to 6.7 on the highway before. Then killed that figure by running at 180+ for half an hour. Any idea what your average highway mileage is?

Per tank I get 27-30 real mpg. The trip computer says 29-32.
