I found that blasted little SMT LED that I dropped in the light housing last week. I didnt even have to take off the bumper. I was putting in my new MTEC Cosmic Blue fogs and decided to look more in depth for it at the same time. It was wedged down in a clump of wires just outside of the main light housing. I could barely see it when I spotted it. I cant believe it didnt rattle out and fall into a more difficult spot. Anyway, I got some duct tape and stuck it to my finger and retrieved it that way. RELIEF!!!!
I once lost the valve cover oil cap (where you put oil into engine). It fell straight down and was NEVER seen again. I spent hours looking for it several times.
This is why i keep saying to have strips of electrical tape rdy, if you notice it fits loose when you plug the bulb to the socket STOP and use the electrical tape to wrap it.
