Default A Way to Pause Music?

I hope this wasn't asked earlier and I missed it while doing my thread search but is there a way to pause the CD while playing music? I was trying to figure it out and I couldn't for the life of me!

I did do a search. The only answer I found is turning off the music. I was wondering if there was an actual PAUSE button. I guess not.

Nope. Just turn it off, same thing as pausing it. No biggie.

Where did you end up getting your IS at? Park Place? If so, who was your salesperson, how was your experience, tell me all the good stuff. haha.

There is no real pause on the system.....but if you push and hold the MODE button on the steering wheel for two seconds you can turn your system off. It's easier than reaching over and pushing the volume button and is almost like a pause button. Pushing it again will turn it back on.

Thanks for all of your replies!

I did get my IS at Park Place Lexus in Plano. I didn't get much off MSRP, it was about $1000 off. I got them to throw the tint in, though. All in all, I got mine for $43,500 OTD. Comes with 18" wheels, NAV, premium package, HIDs. The salesman I spoke with was Curtis Ashley. He's a nice guy and if you go to him, tell him Alex sent you and he may give you a little hook-up.

You could have someone call you whenever you want it paused. Then the bluetooth will kick in and will interupt the play. This is my preferred method.
