where did you get your tint done and how much?


I just had mine done and what a lousy job it was was. i was referred by a friend to partial eclipse. They quoted that they would do all windows including the front windshield for 225 which they didn't. The only reason they were paid was that I had no time to argue and I was late for work. They were suppose to be finished in 2.5 hours but it was a little longer than 3.5. On top of that they cancelled my appointment twice in the last week and a half and told me i was getting 10% which I didn't get as well. he said he would micro plane the back port windows but they have gaps along the top. in the end the guy left his tools in my car...i had to stop him before he took off to give it back to him.

later I found two more sponges under my seat. and once i got to work and took my shirt out of my back seat i found a water mark left by the guy's spray bottle on my left passenger seat. the exact same place where his water bottle and tools were. i tried to take a pic but it was was not dark enough to make anything out.

it was a good thing i knew the service mechanic at the dealership who asked the detailer to clean the back seat and try to reapply some of that perma plate back on. you can kinda still make it out but it's more a bruised ego knowing your new car has a mark that's about a foot wide and 4 inches in hieght. well i stopped the payment/check and left him a message that he's not getting paid until either they come back and do my front window or i'm only going to pay 150 which is the same amount i could have gotten for the work done at my local shop. i really feel i should have to pay anything at all. so all you guys out there don't go to PARTIAL ECLIPSE!!!!
