anyone confirm? I can't find it and just wonder how other owners are handling it.

 

I have a mute button on mine. Don't remember where it is because I never use it, but when I got the car, they showed me it so I definitely have one.

 

Since I'm in waiting mode for my car to be delievered I've been doing a lot learning on features. I believe if you press the mode button on the steering wheel for 3 seconds it turns the audio off and you do it again to turn it on which is basically like mute.

Let me know if this works since I don't have a car to try on yet!

 

When streaming bluetooth I use the Pause/Play button constantly, FWIW.

 

Press and hold center button on left side of the steering wheel. That mutes radio, and pauses CD/BT.

I researched quite a bit before i got the car delivered. Had a pretty good knowledge of 95% of the car.

My sales guy knew about 60% of all the features. They never had a fully equipped 3IS before. He actually asked me to come in after a month or so to help him with the rest. Maybe i should give him a call tomorrow.
