from what i've read the polargs are 10x a standard led and run about $35 so if the piaa is rated true then it would be almost twice as bright about twice the price. I've heard these being called mini HIDS because they output so much light.

$75 would be worth it if its true but I dont want to pay to find out.....

There are LEDs brighter than HIDs out there.. I saw them at Super Autobacs when I was in Japan.. and the price ranged from around $75 - 130 USD. They come with some kind of amplifier attached to a wire as well.

You can, you just need to insert it at a angle, because it's kinda big from all the LED's.

jinetix, car is looking hot bro!

yeah it won't fit going in straight so you gotta put it in at an angle.

finally got the clear es350 door lamp assemblies after 2 weeks of it being on backorder! got it at a toyota dealer cuz it was cheaper than the lexus dealer next door... paid $18.33 each. part # is 81230-47010. apparently it shares the same part as the lamp in the prius and i think earlier es models?

anyways.. this is what it looks like...
