Rear plate lights

Is there anyway to turn off or, atleast dim the rear plate lights on the IS. They are so bright and it makes it very easy for the police to see your plate at night. Anyone know of any good plate covers or reflective sprays ?

You can also lightly sand down your plate with some steel wool. It takes the reflectivness off of your plate making it a lot harder to see at night. I did that with my bike, and if you were more than 5 feet behind me, you couldn't read a single number. Just be careful not to sand down to much and take too much of the color off of the numbers.

Just the police in atlanta are really sneaky and cunning. They also just installed like traffic cams all over the city so im on my guard.

yeah, dog... i dont like peeps catching my tag # when i pull a driveby.. haha..

really, i would try tinting the covers of the license plate lights with either some kind of film like aerotech or maybe a light coat of smoke.
