Default Vanity Plate

Hi, guys. I just got my car over a week ago. I live in WA and want to get a vanity plate. Anyone know if I have to wait for my license plate to come in first before I request a vanity plate? The form that I have to fill out asks for my current license plate -- is it OK to put in the temporary dealer plate?

Thanks!

I waited for mine to arrive before I filled out that form. Which plate are you getting?

Oh... I was hoping I could get that formed turn in earlier, but I guess I'll wait. Probably just going to get the standard plate or UW plate, but kind of worried the purple plate will look ugly.

I agree, those UW plates look hideous. Your best bet is to stick with the standard WA plates.

The red WSU plate looks great on a white IS...just sayin'.

Go Cougs!

And yes, you can just put the temp plate number on the application.
