Default Vanity Plate

Bought a car in a state that uses front and rear license plates. However, I moved to a state that only issues a rear plate. Anyone have any neat ideas or have used vanity plates for the front end license plate holder?

Thanks!

Prob mentioned earlier in this thread.

I don't understand why people post the license plate #s. now a days you can track down who owns it and where they live within a few minutes.

I removed my front license plate holder. The plain grill looks much better.

LexTac19, how does that look?

Tried removing my front license plate holder on a different car and there were two large holes in the front bumper.

So glad my state does not require a front plate. Agree it takes so much away from the looks. 19 states allow no front plate.

BRKYRD is one of my plates. Who am I and where do I live ? I don't know any states that provide that info to someone off the street. Otherwise, every pervert/rapist/cretin that see's a pretty young girl knows exactly where she lives. Find me if you can

Yes, yes it does. I lived in IL for 5 decades but never used a front plate even though it was required. Usually, if you are in the right "hood" they won't mess with you and driving a nice car But, now in KY, so it's even legal now

I know this is old but I can’t help responding. People cover their plate so people on a forum can’t track them down, but you drive all over town with it in plain site. What am I missing?

Exactly, folks see it at the mall, bar, restaurants, or just sitting behind you in traffic. So, if someone coming to get me that I never met because I should have picked the orange LC over the red LC ? lol

This is true - but you also realize that you are driving around all the time with your license plate displayed publicly, right? As it is on every properly registered car in every state, province, jurisdiction, country, etc, as required by law.

If you post a pic of your car and cover the license plate you are safe , because it someone sees your plate in person its just not fun to terrorize you...

Over the decades I have had a few, special to me, vanity plates in the various states I lived in. But lately, I don't care to spend the money to get such a plate. I just get the no charge military/veteran plate since I am proud that I served.

I have the veteran’s plates as well, but in my state they still charge extra for them.
