L.E.D License Plate bulbs?

L.E.D License Plate bulbs?
Hey guys, my friend has an 05 IS300, and he wanted to upgrade his rear license plate light bulbs to the bright LED ones that can be found on the 2nd gen IS. Do any of you guys know where we can get them? Preferably around LA/OC but online is okay too.

Where do LED's come into play here? the '05 uses bulbs and the '06+ uses Cathodes. Led's don't look anything like that so they don't belong in this conversation. They'd just be dim in comparison. It takes cathodes to get that big punch of white.

Well then I guess I'm looking for a white light output instead of the yellow, so I assumed it's LED. Anywho, do you know where I can find rear license plate bulbs to give me a white light instead of the yellow.

Pretty much just choose what you want, I have the cool white ones, it's like a spearmint color. They do have pure white though

Nigel is going to be the closest, but still no comparison to cathodes. For the money though, I'd use nigel's for the plate lights. Cost no option, I'd choose the cathodes hands down. None of those pics put the LEDs against oem cathodes and that's good for Nigel because the cathodes are just amazing.
