only the trunk. so you have to take off the ski pass which is zippered from the other side. then you manually unlock the rear door with the broom handle. then from there you unlock the front. then pop thehood

One of my keys doesn't work very well in the driver's side door. Try gently jiggling it into the key hole while applying pressure. That works for me. Do you see a red light on your key when you push a button?

so here is what ive found out through research and also through real life trial.
1.) the key (1) that i have is the one with the buttons on it, does open the door manually, but only if there is power.
2.) many lexus owners run into this issue. the valet key is the only one that manually unlocks all the time.
3.) i unlocked my trunk manually, removed my subs, unzipped the skipass(even though it was zipped from the inside), used a broom stick and unlocked my back door, then unlocked the front door and popped the hood. jumped the car, and im good to go now. how strange.

Your saying that a master key can't open the door manually if the car's battery is dead, but a valet key can. Weird...why would Lexus give a valet key a function that a master can't perform? Almost makes me want to disconnect my batt just to try it out.
No wait, my battery died once just after I got the car (left the lights on, oops, rookie error) & I opened my door w. the master key.
You guys are just strange

Glad it worked out for you though.
