Default My metal key cannot open the door!

My fob battery just dead last weekend, and I was trying to open my 07 IS250's door using metal key, the one in the fob, but i found it cannot open the door... no matter I turn it to left or right... but I can use it open the trunk.

Today I got my second remote from my girlfriend, the metal key on that one also doesn't work on the door but work on trunk, anyone has the same experience? or any tricks to open the door with metal key?

No clue man. I would check with your nearest dealership. Give them a call and see what they say.

If you did indeed remove the caps and properly use the key in the locks and they didn't work, then the only thing I can think of is that the doors are not original to the car.

I was going to say, there is no lock cylinder in the passenger door. What were you trying to stick it in?

Follow the instructions posted from the owner's manual. If it still doesn't work in the actual lock cylinder, chances are it's been replaced before.

thanks a lot! I think this is the reason, I was in a accident before, and the insurance changed my door.

I'm guessing you don't have access to the old, damaged doors for the lock cylinders?
