Typical wait time for NX350H
How would that happen? Normally there is a break in production between model years. At least there used to be for BMW. So you don't have multiple model years being built simultaneously. So I would expect that if the 2023's start being built and you haven't gotten a 2022 already by then, the order will be switched to a 2023.
I read here that there's 3K NXs already built awaiting parts...sitting there incomplete. These are 2022s with 2022 VINs. Its conceivable that 2023 production will start with these cars still sitting there. Who wants delivery of a 2022 when the 2023s are available?

Of course these are desperate times, so I'm sure if the color combination and trim are right there will be a buyer willing to pay full premium for it.
From what I understand talking to the dealer there is no change for 2023 other than perhaps a higher price by a few hundred.

With BMW, there would be an approx 1 month gap between end of production of a model year and start of the next. Not sure how Lexus does it. Assuming there is a gap and assuming that the parts take longer than that gap, that becomes an interesting issue. My guess is the dealer will have to sweeten the deal somehow. You have a car that has already effectively depreciated by a year.

The two-tone cream black interior is one I could never live with. I'm not sure what Lexus designers were thinking. I'm sure it was designed to handle color transfer from jeans but it looks downright ugly (IMO of course). I could probably live with black for interior, but I know I would always think about how I would be happier with the Palomino and so I've decided to wait. For me exterior colors black and red are no go.
or will be, later this week. At worst, you're not going to see the color when you're sitting on it.My first choice interior was red, but the hybrid is unavailable in Grecian/Red . . . so sad. I love the palomino, but cream is available for delivery now so I'm taking it!
Also, the palomino is just a *little* too much palomino - Toyota should've made the roofliner black. All subjective, individual taste
Haha - That was my first impression, but the color has grown on me. Of course, I'm biased

I put a deposit on one that a larger dealer in Florida had in their allocation. It should be delivered soon, approximately four weeks after I put down my deposit. They quoted me MSRP plus taxes and delivery fees. No additional markup. No added dealer BS like nitrogen in the tires, PPF on door edges, handle cups, etc. I found it difficult to find a car in the color combinations I wanted.
My local dealer has 3 used 2022 NX's when I drove by it today. I stopped to check them out - Very low mileage ranging from 400 to 3000 miles, no prices shown. I wonder if they're demo cars.
There were also 3 new NX's on the lot, all sold. I think the shortage is easing.

We just got the build sheet for our Base 350H with a few nice add ons installed. Slated to be delivered end of October in the color combination my wife has been wanting (Redline with black interior). Very excited! Our 2015 NX200t has served us well but we're looking forward to the new tech, including a touch screen!
