Just got a call from SA saying they have a white/black/luxury coming in, expected to be here in October. Everything good, except I don't like the black interior. If I put a deposit down, I have to agree to $5K markup. Since it's not exactly what I want, I decided to pass. I told him if he sells at MSRP then I'll compromise on the color, but he says for them to do that the car would have to be here and it'll more than likely be sold by then. So the wait continues unless nobody puts a deposit on this one which IMO is unlikely.

I finally took delivery of my 2022 NX350h Eminent White Pearl/Palimino/Luxury today!

Only driven 20 miles so far but I think I’m going to love this vehicle over my ES350.

Cheers!

Congratulations! You have pictures somewhere?

I am now on the waiting list at 3 dealerships within a 100 mile radius, but not very hopeful at all.

Only two pics so far. I’ll take “real” photos over the weekend.

Thank you for the pics.

Looks beautiful. I am definitely doing the right thing by waiting instead of settling.

Would like to see some interior pics too.

And that is one beautiful garage too. My garage looks the way it came from the builder.

Congrats!!! Looks really beautiful, sure you’d enjoy it. How long was your wait from the time it was Built and total time of wait from when you places your order? Thanks and enjoy!

Still waiting patiently. Been over a month now. Keep getting calls every few days about colors and trims that are not of interest. I have 4 dealers where I have expressed interest, and one where I put a deposit down.

Default NX350H premium is here

So about 10 days ago I got a call from dealer in Indiana that they had a Cloudburst gray/Palomino NX350H premium available if I was interested. Of course I immediately gave them a deposit and drove to pick it up yesterday. It was a 10 hour round trip but well worth it since it saved me at least a $8000 mark up in our local market. MSRP plus $425 doc and theft protection...that's it. It's my wife's car so it might be a while before I actually get a chance to drive it. PM me if you need more information on the dealer.

I'd love to hear your driving impressions - particularly around road noise and/or CVT noise. I've seen a couple videos where they brought this up. But I own a 2016 RX 450h and I don't think there is anything unusual about the CVT. I'm trying to decide between a 2022/23 NX 350h or wait for the 23 RX 350h. Would like to know what you think about it.

Here's a thread I posted comparing my NX350h to my 16' RX350.

The 2023 RX is noticeably better for road noise, comfort and interior materials. But NX and RX are quite different in size as well so it really depends on your needs?

motormouth in their review of the RX made comparisons to the NX quite a bit

Thanks! I've actually seen several of their reviews, and also others for the RX. The problem is Lexus isn't releasing all the details yet of the RX 350h. I've resolved to wait to see what both the 2023 NX and RX specs are for the 350h and go from there. I don't need the extra space (kids are grown and gone, so it's my commuter). The NX, by all counts, would be ideal (once loaded up with the Luxury pkg and most of the options). And the MPG is strong. The RX, from what I gather, basically uses the same power train but is going to be a heavier car. So I expect the MPG to be less. But I need to see how much less. Because all else being equal, it may simply come down to how they drive. I'm kind-of guessing the RX will be a tad quieter but the NX will be maybe 10-15% better on MPG. Which means if the NX is "quiet enough" that's what I'll do.

The 23' Rx 350h mpg is 36 combined. Pretty amazing Toyota can get such great mpg from such heavy vehicles. Like you, my kids are gone & MUCH prefer my NX to my 16' RX.

I’m averaging a bit over 39 mpg!
