My 450h is back from service…and…and.. (update, replacement?)
We have also been having issues with other elements of the interface system similar to what is described above.
Our lane departure system is also not functioning.
All this is consistent with a vehicle that does not appear to be ready for use.
It's going to the dealer Monday to see if it threw a code and whatever other information and corrective measures can be performed.
Also, we have Bridgestone Alenza a/s 02 Run Flat Tires in 235 60 18 and there seem to not be any extra tires available anywhere. We got one at our dealer but no others can be found in the Lexus system. Also, btw, there is no spare, no jack etc. If you damage a tire and you are buying 4 new ones. Even with a minor puncture, we have no portable 12V air pump nor 'Fix A Flat' repair means.
This is all unacceptable.

Shortage of supplies all over the world is not a Lexus problem. Run flats allow you to drive even with puncture. If there are concerns, a portable air pump is cheap to buy and put in the trunk.

This really needs to be reposted where 350H and other than 450h+ owners can see this information.
YMMV,

The other alternative is to strip your NX clean of any “personal profile” and totally remain in “guest mode.” Your NX will no longer have any of the “subscriber services” such as Lexus navigation. You will have easy access to Apple CarPlay nav and Waze…or the various Android nav options. I think they’re decently competitive with the mother system. Seat memory goes, of course….but you’ll probably be glitch free until the fix comes or the possible civil law suit is settled.
I do not care about “first production year” in this case. I hold Lexus to a higher standard. The issues which many of us are being subjected to, if not victimized by, are unacceptable. My 5 visits, letters, calls, videos is not anything I expected…or might’ve moved forward on with my eyes open.

My quandary is what do I replace the NX with? The new one will be delivered in late March, if I still want it. Corporate has been incredibly helpful….my misgivings are understood. Obviously, the price of the NX450h puts it up there in GLE350 or X5 territory. Tempting…..but then, in these times, 21 real time mpg has no appeal. Plus, we all know about the future of gasoline driven engines. A very limited future.
Any suggestions?
I did look into this 3rd party company a month or so ago. They are selling their SW to a lot of OEMs, so I am not surprised they are bugs in their generic API interfaces and probably why Lexus can not give you much straight answers right now with their own in-house support. And if Lexus has some HW issues add to any SW bugs, it will be real confusing to all parties while they diagnose it the first time.
Overtime, this will likely settle down- might take a few months to several. My expectation in this area, when I get my allocation, it initially pretty low, so if it starts, CarPlay works and mostly the door unlock and the remote start works with my profile, I will be content- for awhile. Just my thoughts and painful experiences. Toyota/Lexus has invested millions in this connected platform, it will work over time. For them, it is will be a source of future revenue in the $$$.
Here is a 2019 presentation of Toyota's overall plan (found on the internet by search). Hopefully what has evolved into the 2022 NX HW, SW and cellular capability will not terminate as quickly in the future as the dated 3G Enform platform and its 3rd parties support. I am surprised it lived as long as it did with it 3G network. I am not sure if the cellular support in the 2022 NX is 5G capably. But I would think its HW could easily has a 10+ year life, if Toyota choses to support it that long. And I am sure with this business planvand all the 3rd party support it needs, the connected subscriptions will never be free, as some hope.

Celebrating Lexus & Toyota from Around the Globe
Lexus has an unknown track record in this area. Their old systems with joystick is much more reliable and it just does what it says it will do.

We appreciate all your feedback. And yes, our issues are also posted on the Nx350h forum, though this appears to be an interface issue across multiple vehicle models.
She is primary and yesterday her phone (IP13) would not even connect to the car. I took the car to the dealer today waited for one guy to page through the settings looking for adjustments. He did find one setting and told me to try it again (with her phone). Failing that, the next step is the factory reset and starting over from scratch with only one user configuration. I can live with some of the memory lapses but not with Bluetooth not connecting - at least for her. I would also note that the technician (the dealer tech guy) said this car is very new for them so they seem to be learning as they go (and as we continue the Beta Test). Not a very reassuring way of rolling out a new model for the most reliable brand in America.

Have you tried restarting your iPhone when it fails to connect?
