Lexus App Suite
Anyone able to get any of the apps working in the App Suite?
I get tether error even on Pandora and iHeartRadio even though I have the app launched on my iPhone with unlimited data connected via both Bluetooth and USB. Yelp and Facebook locations I get search failed.

Without App Suite you control the Pandora/iHeart etc. Apps from the phone.
With Lexus App Suite you will be controlling them from the Nav Screen.
Be sure to swipe Off Pandora from the phone, LAS will then play it.
You have enrolled your Pandora account (even a free version) and taught
the LAS those login usernames and passwords right?

No, I'm not sure how to get to the username and password setting screen on LAS.

Interesting. I got the same tether error this weekend. I thought there was something wrong with my phone. I was able to connect to Pandora via bluetooth.

Make sure all your accounts are linked up the Enform App suites.

FWIW, I have had mine working for a couple months now and still intermittently get a "Tether error" as well. Turning Bluetooth off and on again works for me when this happens (might be my phone's issue).

pesONE is correct or just tap the small gear icon (settings) in the lower
right corner of the app when not connected with the car.
Of greater use is the Destination Assist and Saved Destination. When
not in the car find a destination and add it to "saved destinations"
Next time your phone pairs up it will ask if you want to Sync...Yes
When in the car either press the Talk Button and say "Launch Destination
Search" or just tap Menu and Lexus App Suite and select Destinations.
When you see the rotation icon you just speak clearly...Wrigley Field,
Chicago IL... your phone does the work and it drops into yours Nav,
call the embedded number, Mark for future use and/or Go now.
Be sure to let the LAS run in the background, to sweep it off is to
create the tether error message.

So I did some testing and I notice there isn't any audio from Pandora or iHeartRadio when I connect my iPhone to the USB port. I have to disconnect the cable in order to hear the car audio. How do I charge my phone while playing through LAS?

I think the most those USB ports can provide is 1A of current. Most Car Chargers can go up to 2amp if phone allows it.

The usb ports aren't meant for charging. They are designed for file transfers, music/images/etc.
They do charge but amps are too low, that's why it takes forever. Get yourself an adapter for the ciggy port.

Are those two USB ports suppose to serve as media ports? I can't seem to browse my music or play through the iPhone when I turn off Bluetooth and connect via USB.

Try power cycling your phone OFF and ON.
Make sure you have Itunes Music library on the Iphone/Ipod.
Cannot play from other apps (like pandora, spotify etc.) I think. <- don't quote me on this. I do not have a Iphone

The two USB ports supply only 500 milliamps (.5 Amp) total.
Running Waze and iHeartRadio consume a lot of power.
Eliminate the phone/app glitches and just charge from the 12v.
BTW, iHeartRadio for even local stations solves the voice muting
problem ie,, the Radio doesn't mute when Nav directions play.
If you are Bluetoothing (real word?) everything then the phone
will do all the work.
