Fuelly reports 18 2021 Lexus RX 450H with an average miles per gallon of 28.6. I have a 2017 with 91,000 mi and I've averaged 28 miles per gallon over the that lifetime. Your mpg is definitely low. Check your air pressure. You should be running cold 34 PSI at least. What tires do you have that can make a difference?
I’m at 28 right now with my 2021 450h, but that is according to the dash which typically reads about 1 mpg too high in comparison to hand calculated. During the warmer months, it isn’t unusual to get 30 or 31 with mostly city driving. As this is your first Lexus, may I ask if it’s also your first hybrid? Driving style, weather, average trip length and vehicle conditions such as tire air pressure can all affect the mileage. Aside from these considerations, it sounds like there is something wrong. I have never registered a tank as low as 24 mpg, even during cold winter driving combined with a series of short trips.

Trips are mixed roughly 60% on FM roads, 30% city streets and 10% highways. Temps from low 40s to high 70s.
Had a 2nd gen hybrid, 3rd gen hybrid and now a 4th gen hybrid. Mileage seems to have gotten worse with each generation based off what the dash board is telling me. If this is accurate that's a bit disappointed; I expect each generation mileage would improve but seems to be the opposite.

I think have have gotten fatter, the extra weight makes a lot of difference.

Heh, I was wrong, mileage is better than 3rd n 2nd. The meter was showing km per leader rather than litres per 100km. Average is 1.5 better than my 2010

Interesting. That is precisely what my last tank measured, right down to the tenths - even the dash reading. Our driving history with this tank was very similar with short trips, but temps were probably about ten degrees lower on average. Dash is reading 35.0 on the current tank at about 1/2, but average trip lengths are more like 15 miles. Still city/rural mix with 35 MPH average speed.
