iPod Touch Integration (2000 GS400)
For those of us that can't use the Vais Technology SL2 in our cars, I have a solution.
I have Nav-TV unit, direct FM modulator and Simple Mac iPod integration with digital audio, charging ability and video.
Here's a link (sorry about bad video quality, it's on a camera phone and in the dark) Oh and this all ran me $300 for parts and installation.

I recently purchased this "LEXPD2" for ipod adapter & charging unit http://www.ipodcarpros.com/product_i...products_id=87 which works pretty good. Clear sound & able to change track on my Nav-unit w/o touching the ipod.

its still cool though done get me wrong. just saying you def can use the SL2Vi in our cars
i do have a ? also at the beginning of the video in the left corner you can see a small video playing the same thing, is this of your ipod/iphone? if so how come a few minutes later when its on the center console it doesnt show video on the player?

Sorry, I don't have links to the product pages, all of the parts used and installed was from Car Toys (my buddy is an installer and gets me hooked up). From what I understand, the Nav-TV (it's actually called Nav-TV) unit is pretty universal, same with the FM modulator (Audiovox) and Simple Mac units.

its all good, i only know cause i had been talking with mark about this. i also have ipod intergration and video but i dont use it since i have my dvd player in the car.........ahhhh now i see. the first part of the video was the right rear screen. gotcha.
What's are options for us GS400 guys? I have searched and can't really find any solid definite info on integrating my iphone into the speakers. My itrip sucks and the static is really starting to get annoying.
